NEON OVERLOAD

Privacy Policy

SILLAPPS

App name: Neon Overload

Developer: Sillapps

Effective date: April 1, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Neon Overload handles information when you use the mobile application. Neon Overload is a mobile game with local progression, optional in-app purchases, optional rewarded ads served through Google AdMob, and optional advertising privacy consent flows served through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP).

Data collected

Neon Overload stores limited app data locally on your device so the game can function as expected. This local data may include progression, credits, unlocked upgrades, completed goals, language preference, and audio settings.

Neon Overload does not require an account for local progression and does not operate a first-party remote analytics backend.

If rewarded ads, consent flows, or in-app purchases are enabled in the published app, third-party providers such as Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP), and app store billing services may collect and process limited technical data needed to operate those services. This may include device or advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, app interaction events, diagnostics, performance information, transaction status, and fraud-prevention or security signals.

How data is used

Local app data is used to save your game state and preferences on the device. This includes remembering your progression and gameplay-related settings between sessions.

If in-app purchases are offered, store providers may use relevant data to process purchases, restore entitlements, prevent fraud, and operate billing systems.

If rewarded ads or consent flows are offered, advertising and consent providers may use relevant data to deliver ads, record and apply privacy choices, measure service performance, prevent abuse, and support ad operations.

Depending on your location and your consent choices, the app may request personalized ads or non-personalized ads. If you decline consent for personalized advertising where such a choice is required, the app is intended to use non-personalized ad requests.

Third-party services

Neon Overload may use third-party mobile platform and monetization services, including Google AdMob for advertising, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent messaging, and app store billing services, when those features are enabled in a given release.

When ads are active, the app may present a consent flow and privacy options form provided through Google UMP so that users can review and manage advertising privacy choices where required.

Some of the limited technical data described above may also be shared with those third-party providers as part of ad delivery, billing, measurement, fraud prevention, security, and compliance operations.

Any data processing performed by third-party billing, advertising, or consent services is governed by those providers' own privacy terms and policies.

Your privacy choices

Where required by law, Neon Overload asks for your advertising privacy choices before initializing ad services. You can accept or decline personalized advertising options presented through the in-app consent form.

You can review or change your advertising privacy choices at any time from the in-app Privacy Settings button when that option is available in the app.

Data retention

Local game data remains on your device until you remove it. You can delete this local data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's storage through your device settings.

Debug logs generated inside the app remain local to the device unless you choose to export them manually for troubleshooting or support.

Security

Neon Overload is designed to keep core progression data on the device and to minimize first-party remote data handling. However, no device, network, or software environment can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children's privacy

Neon Overload is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. The app is not configured as a child-directed service under COPPA. Neon Overload does not knowingly collect personal data from children through a first-party account system or direct submission forms. However, optional third-party monetization or platform services may process limited technical data when enabled in a release build.

Changes to this privacy policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the app's features, data handling, or legal requirements change. Any update will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
